Ronald G. Roberson, C.S.P., is a Paulist priest who holds a doctorate from the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome. From 1988 to 1992, he was a staff member of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, working primarily in relations with the Orthodox churches. Father Roberson now lives at St. Paul’s     College in Washington, D.C., and is associate director of the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious  Affairs at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.  Fr. Roberson has been a member of the International Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Oriental Orthodox Churches since 2005.  In 2014 Pope Francis named him a Consultor to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Oriental Churches.
